Our story
Amidst the blossoming of the Arab Spring, we were brought together on social media platforms by shared concerns and grand dreams of a better reality. That phase was a mosaic of inspiring events, candid discussions, and a revolutionary pulse brimming with life and hope.
However, with the passage of time, our dreams began to wither away gradually.
The failure of many Arab revolutions to achieve their goals of freedom, dignity, and democracy brought things back to square one, and in some cases, even worsened them. An atmosphere of intellectual intimidation prevailed from the group that was harmed by the outbreak of the Arab revolutions, which led to a wide societal division. Many liberals withdrew from this space, leaving the field empty for new pretenders who claimed to be activists, while their only concern was to spread absurd and scattered content, full of lies that serve the interests of the corrupt and controlling political class. Clouds of despair enveloped the sky of struggle and almost extinguished the flame of hope in the hearts of activists.
Our group insisted on adhering to its principles. We confronted injustice on social media platforms, spread awareness, and offered advice, but our impact remained confined to the virtual world.
Things remained the same, stagnant like the waters of a swamp, until the war broke out in the Gaza Strip. That war lifted the lid on serious flaws in the justice system around the world, not just in the Middle East. The double standards appeared in their ugliest form, as if the world had been divided into two parts, one defending the oppressor and the other defending the oppressed.
Amidst these stormy events, the idea of establishing the non-profit organization “A77A” was born. It is a human rights organization that deals with all issues of freedoms and strives to achieve justice by creating social campaigns to collect signatures and address decision-makers directly to bring about real change on the ground.
To achieve this noble goal, we have created this advanced and highly technological website, which contains many features and tools that make it easy and smooth to create social campaigns and fundraising campaigns, free of any complications.
