In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
"Allah has made the Ka'bah, the House of Sanctuary, a standing-place for the people, and the sacred month and the sacrificial offerings and the garlands [to be worn] around the necks of the camels. That you may know that Allah has knowledge of what is in the heavens and on earth, and that Allah is All-Knowing."
We, the undersigned, sons and daughters of the Islamic nation from all corners of the world, hereby appeal to the governments and Islamic institutions, as well as to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to reconsider the management of the Two Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina. These sacred sites belong to all Muslims and should be treated as an inviolable endowment, not managed with a narrow national perspective.
The Two Holy Mosques are not the property of any particular state; they are a sacred Islamic heritage representing all Muslims worldwide. Therefore, we believe that their administration should be under the supervision of an international committee established by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, ensuring:
- Respect for the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques: Preventing any activities or events that conflict with the teachings and values of Islam.
- Guaranteeing the neutrality of the administration: Avoiding the exploitation of these holy sites for political or economic agendas.
- Protecting the rights of Muslims: From all sects and denominations to practice their religious rites freely and safely.
We emphasize that this demand is not motivated by political or hostile intentions, but rather stems from our duty as Muslims to preserve the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques and ensure their management in a way that achieves Muslim unity and reflects true Islamic values.
We ask Allah to unite the ranks of Muslims and guide everyone towards what is best for the Ummah."
